Mahindra and Aditya Software Solutions etc., in last 25 years.
The department caters to the academic needs of over 1700 learners from six different combinations viz., B.Sc., Mathematics, Physics, Computer science (MPCs - from 1999-2000), Mathematics, Statistics, Computer science (MSCs – from 1999-2000), Mathematics, Electronics, Computer science (MECs - from 2003-04), B.Com., Computer Applications (from 1999-2000), BBA (from 1999-2000) and Biotechnology-Microbiology-Chemistry (from 1999-2000). The admission of students to these courses has been purely on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. The students come both from the rural and urban areas. The majority of students who hail from the rural areas are with Telugu medium and English Medium backgrounds. The ratio of boys and girls is 40:60.
